    comfortable room
    delicious breakfast
    attentive hosts
    train noise

Staying at The Willows B&B was an absolute delight. The spacious King Room with a mountain view was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Murray and Deborah, the hosts, were helpful without being intrusive. The breakfasts were a highlight, with delicious homemade jams and a variety of choices. The location made it easy to walk into town, awesome for convenient exploration. On the downside, the train passing by did wake us up on one occasion, but it didn't disrupt our overall experience. Everything else went smoothly, and there's nothing major I would change.

    generous breakfast
    restricted garden access
    strict checkout policy

The breakfast was filling and delicious.

The garden was off-limits, and I found that frustrating. The strict checkout policy was disappointing, especially since we needed a little extra time. I was also taken aback by the unavailability of the grand living room mentioned in their promotional materials. It felt quite misleading.

The room was gorgeous & brand-new, with modern facilities. Location: the hotel was so close to the mountains and the well looked after garden, sights and spots for great souvenirs, and Scotland. Local fast food option Khan Baba's was 5 minutes walk away.

The grand living room depicted in the photos remained behind a closed door!!! Access to the garden, prominently featured in promotions, was restricted!!! A more accommodating checkout policy would be appreciated!!!

The thoughtful touch of a homemade cake and a handwritten anniversary card waiting for us in our room was heartwarming.

Although beautiful, the garden was unavailable for guest use .

The room was realy nice with great views, comfy bed and decorated nicely. Breakfast was pretty good with a lot of choices even tho the schedule was a bit strict. The brekkie was great, super lekker and filling, and the hosts were like proper chommies, so friendly. Room was clean and comfy. Plus, the location was perfect, walking distance to everything!

Only thing is the WiFi was a bit slow at times, but nothing I couldn't handle.

    cozy living room
    welcome hamper
    beautiful garden
    rigid breakfast hours

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the cozy living room where we relaxed after long days and the good welcome hamper filled with treats. The beautiful garden area and comfy TV lounge made for great spots to unwind. Just a heads-up, the breakfast hours felt a bit rigid, but it didn't take away from our overall experience! 😊
